Based on the Carbon Cub by Cub Crafters, an upgraded and thoroughly modern iteration of the classic Super Cub, and equipped with Horizon's SAFE Plus GPS-enabled technology, this scale reproduction makes it easier to learn to fly in less time than ever before. Features including AutoLand, Holding Pattern and Virtual Fence make it easy for almost anyone to fly successfully from their very first flight, while additional features including oversized tundra tires and optional flaps and floats offer the capability and versatility to fly from almost any surface, anywhere.

New TRX-4 Tactical Announced

If you thought the TRX-4 from Traxxas couldn't get any cooler, you just lost that bet. On Thursday, Traxxas announced the new TRX-4 Tactical truck, a variation of the popular new crawling platform. This truck seems to have all the fixin's that the Defender does, but with a military-esque design.

It still features the two-speed transmission, the remote-locking differentials, and aluminum GTR crawler shocks, but adds the new lightweight body to lower the overall center of gravity of the truck for greater speeds, tighter handling, and improved technical crawling, which sounds like a win for all the guys who feel the Defender body is too heavy. Also new are the military-inspired wheels for that, well, tactical feel.

Oh, and they're going to sell for only $419.99, a drop in price of $30 compared to the Defender!

It's due to be available early November, so get your pre-order in right away!
