With success, sometimes, comes failure. The Scout CX helicopter was an overwhelming success in the Christmas season. However, it because quickly apparent that the blades of the Scout tend to break easily if the user isn't quick to throttle down upon (or preferably before) hitting something. We sold out of upper blades two days after Christmas. And now they are backordered - until the end of March. So, if you have a Scout CX, be very careful with it for at least a couple of months. It's hard to understand why such a successful product doesn't have the parts support it deserves.
The Scout CX is a success. But Horizon's inability to have parts ready to go after Christmas is a potential disaster for the product.
