Good Help is Hard to Keep

In the fifteen-ish years I’ve been working here at Roger’s, I’ve worked with dozens of people. Like most retail businesses, our workforce is largely composed of young kids working their way through high school or college, and once graduated, they move on to bigger and better things.

Last week saw us saying goodbye to David Baldwin as he took a job in-line with his firefighting passion, and next week, Jayden will also be exiting for an internship at Nexteer. Both of these guys have been with us for a few years now, and it’s sad to see them go — but of course, they have to make their own path in life, and we wish them well on their future journey.

As one might imagine, this leaves us with a few gaps in our workforce, and as a result, we are hiring. Qualified candidates should be available during the day and weekends, be prepared to interact with the general public all day, and have prior radio-controlled car knowledge; experience in our other hobby categories is nice, but R/C car/truck knowledge and experience is critical as that is our primary category these days. See our Job Opportunities page for more information.

If you meet these requirements, stop in and pick up an application or submit a résumé; we don’t offer online applications or résumé submissions as we prefer to handle things face-to-face.

Our best well-wishes to David and Jayden as they move forward in their lives!
